Novell BrainShare is back and not just once, but
twice.
Novell surprised many of us when announcing that
in
2010 their great BrainShare event will not only run in Salt Lake City
(US) in March, but also in Europe. And more precisely, in wonderful Amsterdam (NL), a city full of surprising views,
museums, music and much much more. Of course the Open Horizons community
will
be very involved with this event and together with Novell, we are
planning
quite a few surprising activities before and
during
this event.

So what is this about?
BrainShare has always been Novell's biggest event and allows Novell
customers and partners to get up-to-date fast on all the cool
technologies and solutions that Novell has to offer. It is also an
excellent place to meet with Novell employees as well as vendors who add
value to the Novell solutions. All in all, it is a great event, of
which you can read more at this page.
The Open Horizons community is very excited about this event in
Europe, specifically in Amsterdam (NL), as we enjoy great events
ourselves. Open Horizons is working with Novell to offer a number of
activities before and during BrainShare. Here are just a few of them:
- Pre-event information and joint traveling - in certain
countries our local chapters will offer the benefit of group travel.
- Open Horizons Half Marathon - Already a big hit during our
EMEA Summit in November 2009, imagine the fun of running a Half marathon
in Amsterdam.
- Open Horizons Hotlabs - This is a unique activity, not even
offered at BrainShare in Salt Lake City - in Amsterdam several members
of the Open Horizons community will offer Hotlabs on several cool
subjects. More information will follow soon.
- Open Horizons Booth - Obviously Open Horizons will have a
booth at BrainShare,with information for members and non-members and
much more.
- Open Horizons Books - When you register for BrainShare
Amsterdam, during the registration at the Novell website you can select a
free book - almost all of these are created as part of the Open
Horizons Bookfund project. This is a limited offer as long as stocks
last.
- Much, much more will follow.
 So what is the Free

The content of the package will remain a surprise. As there are
several ways of getting discounts for BrainShare (like the Early Bird
