Our Speakers 

One of the most important assets of our events are our speakers, as they really share their "brains" during the Hands-On labs. For the EMEA Summit we´ve been able to get some of the most well known speakers on the world. And they´re preparing some very exciting new labs exclusively for this event.
 
Aldo Zanoni - Canada
Aldo is a co-founder of Omni Technology Solutions Inc. (Omni). Since 1999, Omni has focused on creating and marketing software products that provide real, tangible and valuable benefits to companies that use Novell GroupWise and eDirectory solutions and mixed Novell and Microsoft environments. Omni is focused on delivering customer pain relief in the areas of Web-based, "ZERO Rights", delegated user account managed for GroupWise, eDirectory, Active Directory and Exchange (eControl) and Managed GroupWise Policies, CRM / ERP and third-party integration with GroupWise (Riva).
 
Arnaud Delin - France
Arnaud Delin is the CEO of Prestige Reseaux. Arnaud has many years of experience with GroupWise. Together with other French GroupWise enthusiasts he has started the GroupWise User Group France, for which he's currently the President.
 
Branden Black - USA
With more than 18 years experience in the technology industry, Branden Black, brings a wealth of experience in many areas, including software design and development, networking, communications and designing and architecting directories and messaging systems. Branden has held prominent leadership roles in several technology companies, such as Novell Inc., Sorenson Media, dotOne corporation (a technology driven company), True North Inc., and Makau Corporation. Branden provides leadership and consistency to Messaging Architects technical teams, providing the background and experience in communications architecture.
 
Christian Karch - Switzerland
Christian is Vice President Marketing at SKyPRO AG since 2005. He communicates for SKyPRO with partners like Novell, GroupWise and friends, Inetra, GWAVA, GUG, Open Horizons and more since the beginning of the development of SKyCOM. Christian is responsible for the Marketing of SKyPRO and especially for SKyCOM. He will represent SKyPRO in it's first office in the USA, located in Silicon Valley beginning 2009.
 
Cobus Burgers - South Africa
Cobus Burgers has been involved with GroupWise support since 1992 in the days of WordPerfect Office. With 14 years of experience on GroupWise he´s still going strong and he has been involved with most GroupWise deployments in South Africa.  Today he runs his own consultancy company that specialises in large scale GroupWise deployment and support, including custom build GroupWise document management solutions. His company NetCB has a team of GroupWise specialists who service about 200 000 GroupWise users in South Africa and most of the document management implementations on GroupWise have been implemented by this team.
 
Denis de Wit - the Netherlands
Denis de Wit is working as Sales Engineer for Messaging Architects for over 3 years now. He has done quite some experiences with project based implementations of Messaging Architects products. He is speaker at several locations of the GroupWiseR and Novell Tour.
 
Diethmar Rimser - Austria
Diethmar Rimser (BrainAgents - a company focused on GroupWise) started with Novell in 1985. As a professional instructor he has been active since 1994 teaching Novell and Microsoft (It is always good to know both sides). But almost at the same time he has found his real profession - GroupWise. All his activities are now targeted on GroupWise.
 
Erno de Korte - the Netherlands
Erno has been a speaker on many conferences like BrainShare, GroupWise Summits and NUI events. He has a special interest in products integrating  GroupWise with PDA's. Erno has written many articles for several magazines. for example the GroupWise Advisor Magazine. He has also been one of two writers of the Novell Press  "GroupWise 7.0 Administrator Solution Guide" and the lead author of the "GroupWise Powerguide". 
 
Frank Korpershoek - the Netherlands
For over 15 years Frank is working in Novell environments while keeping an eye on the Linux system being evolved. Finally these areas became one and the fun has begun. Other topics of expertise are virtualization, security and of course GroupWise.
 
Gert ter Burg - the Netherlands
Gert is the owner of GWCheck.com, GroupWise beta tester, co-founder of the GUG-NL, and blogs all things GroupWise on GWCheck.log (www.gwcheck.com/wpml). If it smells like GroupWise, it's on GWCheck.com (or it should be).
 
Horst Fuhrmann - Switzerland
Horst is the CEO of SKyPro, a 20 year old Swiss firm based in Cham, near Zurich. SKyPRO provides custom programming and large scale system integration and implementation services in the areas of Novell applications and Identity Management. Current and past clients include Swisscom, Swisscard, UBS, Credit Suisse, Novell, and Microsoft, plus many others.
 
Jamie Glendinning - United Kingdom
Jamie has been working with Novell products since 1996. Since joining ENGL in 2003, Jamie has become a Systems Consultant specialising in Windows deployment using ZENworks and ENGL Imaging Toolkit. Jamie provides consultancy and support for customers and partners world-wide. Outside of work, Jamie is a keen paraglider pilot and spends as much time as he can in the air, you can see him in action here.
 
Jan-Arie Snijders - the Netherlands
Jan-Arie has been supporting GroupWise in various roles for almost 10 years. He works for Novell since early 2004 and he's currently delivering Worldwide Support for GroupWise.
 
Johan Rosius - Belgium
Johan is VP of Workgroup Sales for Novell EMEA. In this role he is responsible for managing and expnading the market for Novell networking infrastructure and collaboration solutions portfolio, definition of go-to-market strategy and the management of Novell Workgroup partner eco-system. Johan reports directly to Volker Smid, President of Novell EMEA.
 
John Ellis - United Kingdom
John has been working in IT for many years and has been working with GroupWise for 14 years, for two blue-chip organizations.  John is a founder member and previous chairman of the UK Groupware User Group.  Lately he has been working on a project migrating to MS-Exchange, so now he really appreciates the strengths of GroupWise!
 
Justin Zandbergen - the Netherlands
Some people expect that Justin came out of a Linux-Pinquin egg - he's been involved with Linux since he became 14 and therefore has many years of experience. After his study to become an IT administrator he worked for OVEC ICT GmbH, nowadays he works for RealOpen IT. He has become a very experienced network engineer and has presented several sessions at a number of events, quite often about his favorite subject Clustering on Linux.
 
Kirill Lizunov - Ukraine

Marcel Ramaker - the Netherlands
As Senior System Consultant and founder of IT Service Essentials Marcel Ramaker has been working in IT since 1982. Starting his career in micro electronics he soon switched to an IT position as analyst/programmer on IBM systems. In 1986 he started his own firm with a strong focus on networking products from Novell. Now Marcel has an impressive  skill set with products like SuSe SLES, OES, GroupWise and Teaming & Conferencing.
 
Mark Beermann - the Netherlands
Mark has a background in messaging and mobile data and has been involved with product and business management of mobile devices at Philips, business consultancy at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and involved in several internet start-ups on mobile services. The last couple of years he is active as interim and business development manager and independent telecom consultant.  In 2003 Mark has started the Messaging Architects in the Netherlands.
 
Patrick Frontéri - Norway
Patrick has been a CNI/MCNIs in Norway since 1997.He was the first GroupWise 5.5 CNE in Norway and he has delivered several sessions and workshops for Novell Forum. Patrick participated with Novell on the launch of GroupWise 6. His own company main focus is training and consulting for GroupWise and related products. He is reseller for several vendors.
 
Paul Bellchambers - United Kingdom
Paul joined BlackBerry in January 2008, with responsibility for the GroupWise market across EMEA. His background includes software development (yes he has written software), customer support, marketing: in a number of different roles with Digital Equipment Corp, Sun Microsystems and Cisco. Another passion is cooking and he has worked in the kitchens at Le Manior Aux Quat’Saisons run by Raymond Blanc.
 
Paul Van der Cruyssen - Belgium
Ten years ago Paul Van der Cruyssen had to install his first e-mail system, and it was ... GroupWise. Love at first sight! After this installion he installed, migrated and supported small and big groupware systems. Paul works as an independent consultant. As a true believer he installed the first GroupWise on Linux in Belgium. If there's time, then Paul is also active as a beta tester (iFolder, ZENworks, GroupWise).
 
Raymond Hulha - Germany
Raymond has been working in software development for more than 10 years. The last five years he has been focusing on developing extensions for GroupWise, so he is a real long time expert in GroupWise development and one of the early adopter of its SOAP API, pioneering the development of GWAVA Retain using the newest features of GroupWise 7 and 8. Raymond is the main developer for Retain, which is the archiving solution from GWAVA. Retain includes all latest archiving technology including the stubbing features, which will be available with the next GroupWise version 8.
 
Rene Kreijveld - the Netherlands
Rene is one of the leading Joomla experts in the world and one of the owner/founders of One-Company,  specializing in the implementation of Open Source Content Management Systems.
 
Rob Clarke - United Kingdom
Rob has been involved with Interchange Group for 8 years, initially based at the software development centre in Derbyshire. He now works as part of the Mobile and Remote Working technical team to provide applications and services for the company´s business clients. Though Rob has a varied portfolio of skills, he works mostly on platform integration which is in demand at the moment.
 
Rob Luhrs - USA
Rob Luhrs was a Senior Analyst at SiteScape with over 6 years of experience in the enterprise collaboration space before he started to work for Novell. During his time at Sitescape he has been both the lead technical consultant to the majority of SiteScape's customer base. Nowadays he's often travelling all over the world to share his vast amount of knowledge with Novell partners and customers.
 
Rob van Kooten - the Netherlands
Rob works at Novell since 1991 ( Wordperfect at the time) and only supports on WP Office and GWise. He delivers ATT training, makes PAT visits and onsites. He has been a speaker at events like the Novell Summit in Sweden. He\'s currently delivering World Wide Support for GroupWise.
 
Robin Redgrave - United Kingdom
Robin has been working with GroupWise and its predecessors for over 17 years. He has held jobs in both IS&T and System Engineering, specializing in messaging.  In 1996 he joined Novell Consulting as a GroupWise consultant. Robin works on GroupWise projects in Africa, the Middle East and throughout Europe typically designing, implementing and health checking GroupWise systems as well as writing custom applications. He is a regular speaker at BrainShare and other conferences.
 
Roel van Bueren - the Netherlands
Roel van Bueren is working as a senior consultant and trainer for ROVABU NetWorks. ROVABU NetWorks' main focus is desktop and application management, desktop imaging, software packaging, .NET development and e-mail/groupware. Roel has been a speaker for several events like Brainshare, GWAVAcon, the GroupWise Summit and the Packaging Event. As an author, recently he has written five articles on Novell's new flagship 'ZENworks Configuration Management'. Regarding Novell, Roel is 'very much in love', for a very long time, with two specific products: GroupWise and ZENworks. In the Netherlands his company ROVABU NetWorks is 'ENGL integration partner' and 'Advansys' Formativ Custom Development Partner'.
 
Ron van Herk
Ron is one of the Worldwide Support Engineers dedicated to support ZENworks, he is working out of the Novell European Services Center in the Netherlands. As a Worldwide Support Engineer he is the interface between the Support organization and the ZENworks engineering teams. Ron has been dedicated to supporting ZENworks over the last seven years and speaks at many conferences and events including BrainShare, BrainStormer, GWAVAcon and many others. Sander van Vugt - the Netherlands
Sander van Vugt is involved in Linux since 1993. He has written several books on Linux, both in Dutch and in English. Sander is an expert in clustering as well: het presented on Novell Clustering Services together with Rob Bastiaansen on BrainShare 2006 and did a presentation on Linux Heartbeat Clustering at LinuxWorld Boston as well. Sander is working as an independent trainer and consultant helping people to migrate to Linuxall over the EMEA region.
 
Scott Brown - USA
Scott is GroupWise Engineering Manager. Initially hired to work on GroupWise installs, Scott joined the GroupWise team in 2000.  Since then he has been involved in many aspects of GroupWise development including the Windows Client, Linux Client, Client side APIs, and the overall GroupWise build structure.  He currently manages the GroupWise client teams including the Windows, Linux, and Mac Clients.  Scott holds both an MBA and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
 
Stéphane Zanoni - Canada
Stéphane Zanoni is the senior developer and project manager for Omni's portfolio of Novell GroupWise, eDirectory, NetMail and mixed OES enhancement products.  Over the past 12 years, Stéphane's development expertise and passion for excellence have resulted in Omni's continued success in delivering innovative technology solutions to enhance Novell customers' Return On Investment.  Since becoming one of the youngest Certified Novell Administrators (CNA) in the world at age 12, Stéphane has kept current on the evolution of Novell's product offerings.
 
Svetlin Petrov - Bulgaria
Svetlin is an assistant professor in the field of networking and he is MCP, CNS, CLS, CNE5, CNE6, CDE, CNI, CLE and CLP. He is very active Novell beta tester (till now he took part in more than 50 Novell beta programs) and was the best NetWare 6.5, NetWare 6.5 SP1, Novell Small Business Suite 6.5, Nterprise Branch Office 2.0, ZENworks 6.5, Open Enterprise Server (OES), iFolder 3.0 on OES, ZENworks 7 Suite, Novell Client for Linux and Novell Branch Office 9 beta tester.
 
Tay Kratzer  - United States
Tay is Lead Developer of Reload, Director of Linux Professional Services, and Author of the Novell Press GroupWise 7 Administrator's Solution Guide. Tay worked formerly with Novell Premium Service and has been Primary Support Engineer for some of Novell's larger customer sites. Tay is the author and co-author of 8 GroupWise-related books. Tay Kratzer has supported Novell GroupWise since 1993 and he is a Novell Master CNE. In the year 2000, Tay was recipient of the highest recognition award from Software Support Professional Association.
 
Tim Heywood - United Kingdom
Tim has been only been working with GroupWise for the past 9 years and spends far too much of his time in the GroupWise forums. A regular speaker at BrainShare and UK technical events Tim enjoys practicing what he preaches with all of Novell's products; he's also PM for GWMigrate.
 
Tommy Mikkelsen - Denmark
Tommy Mikkelsen has been working with Novell products for over 12 years. Tommy has been very active in NUI Denmark, as President and Vice President. He works with ZENworks, BorderManager, and GroupWise, as well as Netware and eDirectory. Tommy is Senior Consultant at IT Quality A/S. IT Quality is one of Denmark's largest Novell Business Experts.
 
Zach Bitner
Zach has been with GroupLink for five years, he is currently the director of global partnerships.  His background includes sales & marketing.  He is a fanatical golfer, and the proud father of 3 children.  Zach holds a degree in Business Administration from Weber State University.
