EMEA Tour on Friday December 12
The Open Horizons EMEA Tour 2008 (formerly GroupWiseR EMEA Tour) will be
organized again in 2008 by t he NUB, Novell and the international GroupWiseR initiatief. On Friday December 12 we will offer a very interesting day about how Novell can help you to improve your business using solutions like Novell Teaming + Conferencing and GroupWise. As a follow up, you might also be interested to join us for Hands-On Labs at the EMEA Summit. You can read more about this interesting day at this page. |
Novell Delivers the Widest Range of Collaboration Solutions on Any Platform
Working together in teams is getting more and more
important for organizations of all sizes in a global economy as more
and more people wrestle to keep the daily information flow under
control.
Novell has added many exciting new features to the upcoming release of
GroupWise, which is code-named "Bonsai" and is scheduled to ship later this year. This allows you and your users to manage their work/life
responsibilities and commitments even better. For example, you can
easily create multiple calendars and then selectively publish them
externally or subscribe to the calendars of other people or projects.
This new version of GroupWise will also offer state-of-the-art contact
management and many more large and small enhancements to improve
end-user personal productivity and ease IT management. Furthermore,
the new GroupWise client will be available for all leading desktop
operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Mac, and hundreds of
mobile devices. The WebAccess client has also been improved
dramatically.
Last year Novell added Teaming + Conferencing to its workgroup
portfolio, with all the collaboration tools distributed and project
teams might need: workspaces, project spaces, enterprise social
software, workflow automation, white-boarding, presence, chat and much
more. Teaming + Conferencing can connect to many other operating,
messaging and office productivity systems. For example, you can easily
enrich personal productivity by leveraging the built-in integrations between Teaming + Conferencing and GroupWise. This allows you to add a
team calendar in GroupWise, for example, and from within GroupWise you
can access a number of Teaming portlets. And this new solution is
platform independent, leverages open standards for greater
interoperability and is based on the ICECore open source project, a
number of key factors for success.
All in all, with GroupWise and Teaming + Conferencing Novell takes the
lead with regard to personal and team productivity. And we will
certainly show you how to become even more effective and efficient
during our events. |
