The
France Summit is the highlight of
the
Open Horizons events in France.
For
2010, the event will again be hosted at Chateau de Fontager, near Valence.
Last year our attendees appreciated this event a lot and several people
asked for more.

Notre formule « All-Inclusive » est construite à partir du retour d'expérience fourni par les participants de nos précédents évènements et comprend (presque) tout ce dont vous aurez besoin: • Hébergement – 2 nuits à l'hôtel accueillant le Summit. • Repas – diners (dont la veille de l'ouverture du Summit), déjeuners (2x) et petits-déjeuners (2x). • Transfert – Trajet A/R entre la gare TGV et l'hôtel. • Disque dur USB gratuit – Utile pour stocker le contenu des sessions. • Accès Internet gratuit – Dans et autour des salles de conférence. • Hébergement additionnel préférentiel – Possibilité d'arriver en avance ou de rester plus longtemps à l'hôtel tout en bénéficiant d'un tarif préférentiel.
Nearest airport is Lyon Airport, the nearest TGV station is Valence. On Sunday we will provide shuttle service to the Summit hotel. We will also provide shuttle service back to the train station after the Summit on Tuesday.

Erno
de Korte
Based in Pretoria, Corne has been organising numerous
events in Africa as well as in EMEA. He is a certified Novell Engineer as well
as a certified ITIL practitioner, has been in the Novell industry for more than 10
years and has facilitated numerous GroupWise training sessions to various
customers in East as well as Southern Africa. He is also actively involved in
the Open Horizons Magazine and has done editing on some of the Open Horizons
Books.
Erno a été intervenant dans de nombreuses conférences
comme Brainshare, les GroupWise Summits et les événements NUI. Il
s’intéresse tout particulièrement aux produits intégrant GroupWise avec
les PDAs. Erno a écrit beaucoup d’articles pour différents magazines,
comme le GroupWise Advisor Magazine. Il a également co-écrit le livre «
GroupWise 7.0 Administrator Solution Guide » chez Novell Press et il
est l’auteur principal de « GroupWise Powerguide ».
Paul Van der Cruyssen

Il y a dix ans Paul a installé son premier système de messagerie, et
c’était … GroupWise. Ce fut un coup de foudre ! Après cette première expérience,
il a installé, migré et supporté de petits et grands systèmes groupware. Paul
travaille comme consultant indépendant et en vrai adepte a installé le premier
GroupWise sur Linux en Belgique. A ses moments perdus, Paul est également un
beta testeur actif (iFolder, ZENworks, GroupWise).
Samuel discovered Linux and the Open Source movement 8 years ago... and never
came back! He has taught linux for 3 years during his studies and also
got involved in some open source projets like the Linux kernel.
He
presented Novell's Xen para/virtualization solutions at
Solution Linux'08(Paris) and Mono technologies implementation on SLES 11
at Solutions Linux'09(Paris). While working as an independant trainer and
consultant he is currently
developping a soon-to-release Vala application
server on his spare time.
Sander
van
Vugt

Sander van Vugt is involved in Linux since 1993. He has written several books on Linux, both in Dutch and in English. Sander is an expert in clustering as well: het presented on Novell Clustering Services together with Rob Bastiaansen on BrainShare 2006 and did a presentation on Linux Heartbeat Clustering at LinuxWorld Boston as well. Sander is working as an independent trainer and consultant helping people to migrate to Linuxall over the EMEA region.
