Here is some good and some bad news about the EMEA Summit. Lets start with the bad news - this will almost certainly be the last EMEA Summit which will be held in the Benelux, after 2 years in the Kurhaus
in the Hague and 2 years in Bruges the 5th EMEA Summit will be held in beautiful Hotel de Buunderkamp in the Netherlands, for 2009 we have serious plans to move this event to another country like Denmark. So hurry up if you want to enjoy a visit to the Benelux! The good news is about a number of interesting new speakers we've added to our team, one being Rob Luhrs, formerly Sitescape, nowadays Novell.
The rest is just good news: our team of speakers has been strengthened by two new additions: Rob Luhrs is one of the former Sitescape developers and consultants and is now traveling around the world for Novell. Rob will be involved with a number of Teaming + Conferencing labs and will create and present one special new lab about the development os applications connected to the Webservices interface of T+C - unique and very cool! Furthermore local hero Roel van Bueren will join our speaker team as well, we will be back with more news about his involvement soon.
Anyway, the list of speakers is impressive, more than 30 of the best on the world are ligned up at www.emeasummit.net/speakers That's also because this event is indeed more like a " community gathering"
than just an event with a number of sessions, during the Summit the borders between speakers, partners and attendees disappaer completely and the knowledge is pouring out the pores of the hotel again during our Hands-On labs and elsewhere. The air will be sizzling with energy again! |
