Novell soon plans to deliver Novell DataSync, a key architectural
element of the new Novell Open Collaboration strategy that resides at
the Collaboration Services layer. Novell DataSync is a bidirectional,
many-to-many synchronization engine that connects disparate
collaboration solutions, business-critical applications and mobile
devices. Novell DataSync will play an integral role in seamlessly
bringing together the people, tools and interactions that drive greater
innovation and productivity. During this new training you will get up to speed fast with this new and exciting technology. |

Novell DataSync enables seamless back-end synchronization of e-mail,
calendar items, tasks, events and any other collaboration data to
multiple systems. It will allow external enterprise applications such
as CRM, ERP and other business systems—along with content from
traditional products such as GroupWise, Novell Teaming, Exchange and
SharePoint - to be synchronized across systems.
This training will introduce an Overview of the new DataSync Server
(Codename Gradenko) and how to configure it in various situations. You
will connect GroupWise to SugarCRM and Alfresco to demonstrate and test
the new features. You will also dive deep into the Sync-Engine's Active Sync Connector
to setup Synchronization between GroupWise and mobile devices. Please
note that the release date of DataSync is currently scheduled for
Q1-2010, in this training you therefore will use beta-software to
become one of the first to use this cool new technology. |
 Please Note: this is a " Headstart" training, in which we
will deliver a preview of the DataSynchronizer technology. The full
solution is due to be delivered in a few months. |
